PSB Academy is hosting its first physical open house in two years on Feb 4, from 11am to 5pm, after a hiatus due to the pandemic.
The private educational institution offers a wide range of diploma & certificate courses, as well as a choice of 12 disciplines, AU/UK/USA universities, honours and non-honours Bachelor’s degrees in Singapore.
In addition, in partnership with the school’s university partners, the school also offers a suite of Master’s degree options and MBA courses to cater to various students’ needs and career advancement.
Here’s what you can look forward to at the open house:
To help prospective students, PSB is organising talks where they can hear directly from PSB Academy’s industry experts and alumni.
The scheduled talks include sharings conducted by the School of Business and Management, Engineering and Technology, Health and Life Sciences, as well as Postgraduate Studies.
Each talk will cover what students can do after their N Levels, provide an introduction to the courses, sharings by alumni, as well as a lecture on what’s in line for students after graduating from PSB Academy. The physical lectures will take place between 12pm to 4pm.
For those interested in studying Cyber Security, the School of Engineering and Technology’s talk from 2pm to 3pm will include a panel discussion on students’ experiences at PSB Academy, as well as industry advice for aspiring cyber enthusiasts.
The School of Health and Life Sciences’ talk that will take place from 1pm to 2pm will see a lecturer, Dr Renugah Tamunaidu, share about the skill sets required to pursue a Diploma in Life Sciences.
Those planning to take engineering can check out the talk by the School of Postgraduate Studies from 3pm to 4pm, where PSB Academy’s Dr John Heng will share on being a successful senior manager in engineering companies and what Industry 4.0 is about.
The Introduction to Graphic and Media Design Workshop hosted by the School of Business and Management from 2pm to 3pm will provide participants with a glimpse into using Adobe Illustrator to design print products, web graphics and even a logo.

For O Levels and ITE graduates unsure of what to study yet, PSB Academy is offering a two-day Immersion Programme to help prospective students discover what suits them.
The programme will take place from Feb 3 to 4 at PSB Academy’s Marina Square campus, from 9am to 5pm.
Participants will be given various opportunities to explore different disciplines across PSB Academy schools, like Digital Marketing, Engineering, Infocom Technology, Life Sciences, Media Comms and Sports Sciences, so as to ensure students make a more informed choice when their results are released.
For example, one of the Immersion Programme workshops, Understanding Your Blood Type, falls under the Life Sciences Course. In this session, students will get to learn how to test different blood type samples and how different blood types react to different antibody serums.
Those who join the Immersion Programme may even win an iPad (9th gen) as well as a $1,000 rebate for their course fees.
Registration for the Immersion Programme will cost $200. Those interested in signing up can do it here. Applications for the Immersion Programme ends on Jan 6.
Those who attend the open house on Feb 4 and submit their applications to enrol into PSB Academy can take part in a lucky draw to win prizes such as an Airpod Pro (2nd gen) earpiece and a 13-inch Macbook Pro.
Those who enrol with PSB Academy from January are also eligible to receive course fee rebates of up to $11,000. These rebates apply to selected courses only.
