Shan Masood celebrates a personal milestone.
A three-match Test series will be played within a 21-day period during the second leg of England’s tour of Pakistan 2022. Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, which had also hosted the first Test against Australia earlier this year, will be hosting the first of three England Tests from Thursday.
Set to play a Test match against each other after 27 months, it will commence the 27th bilateral Test series between Pakistan and England. While Pakistan have won eight Test series over the years, England lead on the back of their 10 victories. Going to be the ninth Pakistan-England Test series in Pakistan (first in the last 17 years), the home team lead by a 3-2 margin.

Neither of the two teams have announced their Playing XI at this point in time. With some English cricketers including captain Ben Stokes reportedly suffering from food poisoning, it is not only unlikely for the visitors to announce their Playing XI on Wednesday but the same could also have an adverse effect on their combination tomorrow.
Much like Australia vs West Indies Tests having begun from today, Sony Sports Network will also be televising England’s tour of Pakistan 2022 for the Indian audiences. While Sony have confirmed doing the same, they are yet to reveal the exact name of the television channel. Hence, Indian fans are advised to go through their revamped portfolio of Indian channels in the morning.
Indian fans, who prefer to stream live cricket, won’t have to make any special efforts tomorrow as Sony LIV will be a one-stop option for them to watch this series.
Tried and tested Sky Sports will be televising these Test matches for English fans back home. Meanwhile, local fans in Pakistan will have options as both PTV Sports and A Sports will be broadcasting these matches in Pakistan.

Born and brought up in Pathankot, Dixit Bhargav is an engineering and sports management graduate who is currently into his fifth year as a Cricket Editor at The SportsRush. His first cricketing memory dates back to 2002 when former India captain Sourav Ganguly had waved his jersey at the historic Lord’s balcony. What followed for an 8-year-old was an instant adulation for both Ganguly and the sport. The optimist in him is waiting for the day when Punjab Kings will win their maiden Indian Premier League title. When not watching cricket, he is mostly found in a cinema hall watching a Punjabi movie.
