A GIRL turned 11 yesterday — on the 11th day of the 11th month.
Louisa Sullivan had been due to arrive 11 days earlier, on Halloween in 2011.
But she is one of a select few to be born on a date where all the numbers are the same, considered lucky in many cultures.
Her mum Christine said: “There is a family tradition to be born on Halloween — her nan and great nan were both born on that day — so I was so upset when I was late.
“But now I know Louisa was being saved for an even more special date. I had to be induced on November 11, at nearly 11.11pm, 11 years ago. She was a real miracle baby.”
The mum of three from Laindon, Essex, added: It is such a unique birthday and reflects the amazing girl she is.”
Meanwhile, Daniel Saunders also celebrated his 11th birthday yesterday — after being born at 11.11am on November 11, 2011.
The lad, from Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire, got 11 presents. He said: “It’s more exciting than any other birthday has ever been.
“Eleven is a master number in numerology and it means I have good potential.”
