To honor American teachers welcoming students back to school – and getting back into the fall grind, Dunkin’ has a free caffeine fix.
The national coffee and donut chain is offering educators one of its signature medium hot or iced coffees – free of charge, only on Sept. 1.
“Who’s more deserving of a coffee break?” Dunkin’ announced on its website and social media pages. “We’re proud to recognize educators for their passion and dedication and to help fuel their go with a coffee on us at the start of a new school year.”

The only kickers: There’s one per teacher (so bringing some for the whole school meeting could be tough). The deal is also limited while supplies last (assuming they don’t run out of coffee) and lines could be long.
The promotional move comes as a push to encourage teachers to take to Dunkin’s social media channels – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tik Tok.
According to the company’s website, offers may not be valid in Metro New York City, among other non-participating locations. Cold brew and nitro cold brew are not included in the free-of-charge offer.
Dunkin’ isn’t the only business offering teachers free coffee this month. Convenience store Wawa has an offer that spans all of September for free coffee of any size for teachers, it announced last month.
