For his part, Hugo Urueña, manager of Atomic Studios SAS, said that thanks to the strategy “we managed to increase exports by 100%. Now, we export video games to the United States and soon to Mexico. We have also received training on legal issues, at the same time that we have participated in business roundtables, which has helped us to improve processes, sell more and reach customers that we did not imagine”.
During this year, the accompaniment to companies in seven municipalities with less than 200,000 inhabitants and one company in a PDET municipality (Development Programs with a Territorial Focus) stand out.
“Being synonymous with talent and creativity, service exports have been fundamental in our purpose of diversifying the country’s non-mining exports. Likewise, they are a tool that contributes to development and the creation of new jobs in the territories,” indicated Carmen Caballero, president of ProColombia.
Among the industries that have been impacted this year, there are 145 companies from the software and IT sector, 8 from video games, 14 from animation, 38 from the advertising and digital marketing sector, and 62 from the audiovisual sector.
