Woman complains about waitresses’ hair in her pub lunch – but the owner dishes out scathing reply… – The Sun

A PUB owner has hit back at a diner after she claimed there was strand of hair in her chicken nuggets.
The woman, known only as Rose, left a scathing review online after dining at The Summerhouse in Wolverhampton, before saying she would "not be visiting again".
The shocked customer complained to TripAdvisor after claiming to have discovered a black hair in her food while at the Black Country pub.
Rose then shared a photo of the small black hair on the chicken nugget to the review website.
And the diner also added that she had been "enjoying the food up until that point".
In her short review Rose wrote: "I had my food come to the table, I was enjoying it until I saw a hair on my chicken nugget.
"I checked that it wasn’t my hair and it wasn’t as my hair is blonde and the hair I found In my food was black.
"I know I may sound very dramatic (and in some cases it can’t be helped) in this review but it really put me off my food I will not be visiting here again!!"
The Summerhouse seems to be a popular choice in the area with the majority of reviews rating it "excellent".
The pub has a 4.5 rating on Tripadvisor with more than 350 independent reviews.
And the owners did not let the scathing review go without having their say on the situation.
Karen K, owner at The Summerhouse hit back against the disgruntled diner who was allegedly eating a "child's chicken nugget meal".
Her reply read: "Many thanks for your review. I can only apologise if you were unhappy with the child's chicken nugget meal that you were eating.
"I have no explanation on how the black hair came to be on your food as the chefs in our kitchen are also blonde haired or bald.
"Had you have brought this issue to our attention at the time, we could of rectified it for you."
Despite Rose's poor experience, many other diners on TripAdvisor have seemed to enjoy the pub's fare.
In August, Teresa said: "We were a party of 12 celebrating family birthdays. The welcome was lovely, the staff were very friendly and the food was delicious.
"It all came out at the same time which can be a problem for a larger party but no problems here. Really lovely, definitely recommend. Reasonable prices too."
Another diner said: "We went here for a quick lunch stop off as heard lovely things about the food.
"Staff were great, very attentive. It was quite quiet so unsure what it would be like on a busy day but was perfect for us.
"Reasonable prices. Two adult meals, a kids meal and three drinks £32. Larger kids meal was also huge. Very tasty and really enjoyed it."
