The Chicago White Sox have been without Aaron Bummer since early June. Prior to the opening a four-game set with the Cleveland Guardians on Friday, Bummer himself shed some light on when he may be back in action.
Speaking to reporters, Bummer cautioned that there is still a bit of time before he will be back on the mound at 35th/Shields, but he seems to have his sights set on a September return.
Aaron Bummer has appeared in 20 games for the Chicago White Sox this season. He holds a 3.06 ERA with 21 strikeouts. The southpaw last pitched on June 6 before landing on the 15-day injured list on June 12 with a left lat strain.
