On Monday morning, USA TODAY Sports writer, Paul Myerberg, released his reimagined college football landscape if it were to move to a 32-team NFL model.

The Wisconsin Badgers made Meyerberg’s model, while several notable Big Ten teams, like Iowa and Maryland, were not included. The model features two fairly-waited conferences that are divided into geographic divisions with four teams in each division.
The Badgers were named to the Stagg Conference North Division. In a season they would play three divisional games, four other same-conference games, four games against a division in another conference and a rivalry game. Wisconsin’s rivalry game each season would be against Texas, Nebraska or Arizona State. The playoffs would then work the same as the NFL.
It is definitely an interesting concept to imagine college football with such an organized structure. Below are the teams that are featured in the Stagg North Division:
