Watch as huge gang of yobs beat defenceless man to a pulp ‘like pack of wild animals’…before brave mum-o… – The Sun

THIS is the incredible moment a brave mum-of-three stopped a gang of yobs from beating a defenceless man to a pulp.
Clare Larkey-Jones, 48, charged towards the group who were punching and kicking the man "like a pack of wild animals" in a car park.
Police officer Clare was heading home from an 11-hour shift in Caernarfon, North Wales, when she heard blokes shouting.
The mum grabbed "ringleader" Callum Lee Davies, 19, and pulled him away by the collar – before calling the cops and an ambulance, she said.
Lee Davies' victim, who was in his 20s, was badly beaten before Clare intervened.
He was rushed to hospital with a 3cm cut to his face as well as a bruised and swollen eye.
She told Daily Post: "I had just finished an 11-hour shift and was picking my brother and his girlfriend up at The Maes in Caernarfon before going home when I heard a lot of shouting.
"I told my brother to stay in the car and I walked over and a gang of lads were picking on a young man in his 20s.
"They were like a pack of wild animals and started beating him up.
"They stopped when I came over but then they started again.
"I just went on auto-pilot and got hold of the ring-leader, shouted at them and pulled him off before they ran away and then called the police and ambulance."
At the time of the sentencing, Lee Davies was part-way through another sentence – so got a further 12 months added for assault.
Judge Nicola Jones said Clare "was clearly thinking only of restoring order and protecting the victim of the assault when she intervened" with "no thought for her own safety".
The judge added: "She got in the middle of all these men who were behaving violently.
"She very clearly and robustly sent everybody on their way."
The judge thanked Clare for her brave intervention.
Judge Jones said: "I wanted to thank you and commend you for your bravery that night.
"I've seen what this man is capable of in relation to other offences and had you not intervened, there'd have been a very real risk of more serious injury to [the victim] and certainly a real risk of more public disorder."
