The winger is wanted by Newcastle, who are in talks with the Toffees over a potential deal.
Elsewhere, Manchester United are set to face a transfer battle with their Premier League rivals for Inter Milan star Denzel Dumfries, according to reports.

Leeds are haggling with Juventus over a fee to sign USA midfielder Weston McKennie.
Whites boss Jesse Marsch wants to land his countryman — but Leeds’ offer of £20million plus add-ons is short of Juve’s £30m valuation.
The 24-year-old is understood to have given the green light to a move, which would see him link up with his US team-mates Tyler Adams and Brenden Aaronson.
Leeds are optimistic they can strike a deal for World Cup star McKennie, who has also caught the eye of Arsenal and Aston Villa.
The midfielder joined Juventus on loan from Schalke in 2020 until his move became permanent a year later.
McKennie has since amassed a total of 13 goals and five assists in 96 appearances across all competitions.
This United fan reckons a single one in-one out move could transform the Red Devils.
Just two problems.
To "sell Scott McTominay for £50m" sounds a tall order.
And not only might his suggested replacement, Everton's Amadou Onana, cost as much – he has also been linked to Arsenal and Chelsea.

Tottenham could be more willing to sell Harry Kane to Bayern Munich than Manchester United.
It's claimed Spurs might reduce their demands for an overseas club – and that in any case United might baulk at a seven-figure sum.
BILD TV reporter Valentina Maceri suggested to Sky Sports that Tottenham would be keen for the England skipper not to join a Prem rival like United, Man City or Chelsea.
And it's thought that's a main reason why there's more talk right now of Bayern moving again for the striker at the end of the season – after reportedly being quoted £140million last summer.
Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic is OFF Manchester United’s January agenda.
That’s according to The Express, despite suggestions the Red Devils might try to add another attacker in the next five days.
It’s claimed United boss Erik ten Hag must be cautious with his spending this month.
The Dutchman has only added two signings, both on loan – Crystal Palace keeper Jack Butland and Burnley forward Wout Weghorst.
Ray Parlour believes Declan Rice would not get into Arsenal’s team ahead of Thomas Partey.
But he does believe the West Ham man could be useful for depth given all the competitions the Gunners may compete in.
The former Arsenal player told NetBet Sports Betting: “Yeah absolutely he’s a top player but Partey has been brilliant in the midfield I mean, look, if you get Declan Rice does he play in front of Partey at the moment?
“But you need big players in your team throughout the season. If you’re going for the Champions League and you playing in the league, FA Cup, there are so many games, so you need to rotate your squad at times, but Partey has been very important for Arsenal.”
Denzel Dumfries’ agent reportedly flew in for talks with Prem clubs.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Newcastle are thought to be keen on Inter Milan’s Holland right-back.
And the Italian giants might consider doing business for around £40million.
The ex-PSV star, 26, has lost his place in the Inter side to 33-year-old Italy and ex-United player Matteo Darmian
Calciomercato say Dumfries’ agent Rafaela Pimenta jetted to England for discussions with “several” top-flight teams.
Jakub Kiwior’s wife Claudia Kowalczyk hopes she’s got her twerk-life balance just right after announcing: “London I’m ready.”
The Polish couple are settling happily into life in the capital after Arsenal paid Serie A club Spezia £21million for the defender.
And twerking queen Claudia revealed she’s been overwhelmed by well-wishers.
The 30-year-old posted on Instagram: “Thank you all for Your messages!
“I can’t reply to everyone, but I really appreciate it! London I’m ready.”
Kiwior and Arsenal‘s other January new boy, Leandro Trossard, could make full debuts in Friday’s FA Cup fourth-round clash at Manchester City.
Bournemouth reportedly hope to land Villarreal striker Nicolas Jackson for about £22.5m.
The two-cap Senegalese, 21, has also been linked to Southampton.
Kolo Toure has been sacked by Wigan – after failing to win any of his NINE games in charge.
The ex-Arsenal defender left his role as a coach at Leicester in November 2022 to take his first managerial job.
But a torrid run of results means the Latics have axed the Ivorian already, with the club bottom of the Championship.
Assistants Kevin Betsy and Ashvir Johal have also departed.
Wigan's CEO Malachy Brannigan said: “Firstly, I’d like to thank Kolo, along with Kevin and Ash, for their efforts during their time at the football club.
“Unfortunately, the results on the field have not been as we would have liked and as tough a decision as this was, the board felt it necessary to give us the best possible chance of remaining a Championship club next season.
“We know that this time of year is a key period for any football club, ourselves included.
"Therefore, we will now work swiftly and effectively to ensure the right person is appointed as the next permanent manager of Wigan Athletic, with the immediate objective of remaining in the second tier for next season.”
Manchester United are open to letting four more players leave before Tuesday's transfer deadline day – plus Charlie Savage.
As exclusively revealed by SunSport, Robbie Savage's son will join Forest Green Rovers on loan for the remainder of the season.
But according to the Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils are keen for another quartet of their rising stars to go out on loan to gain first-team action.
Charlie McNeill has caught the eye of a number of League One and League Two sides and will join a club that can guarantee him regular minutes.
The 19-year-old striker went on a work experience loan to Sheffield Wednesday last season which permitted him to train but not play official matches.
Defenders Di'Shon Bernard and Bjorn Hardley are in a similar position to McNeill and are keen to get some action to continue their development.
United will only allow the duo loan moves if minutes are secured – but could even sell them if the right offer came in.
Lastly, Zidane Iqbal is another exciting talent gaining plenty of attention.
Paul Parker believes "real" Manchester United fans want David Gea to stay – whereas FIFA players hope Jordan Pickford signs.
Former Red Devils defender Spanish keeper De Gea, 32, has faced unfair criticism in recent years.
And the ex-England star told Apostagolos: “He is not the best with his feet but his job is to save the shots that he faces.
"Otherwise, you could just bring Jordan Pickford to the club who has amazing kicking stats in FIFA, but he would never be able to do a good job at Man United.”
“The real Man United fans would like to see David de Gea renewing his contract but the FIFA fans might want Jordan Pickford at Man United, which is disrespectful.”
Parker added: “David De Gea has been criticised too much the last two or three seasons.
"He has done incredibly well for Man United and he should be respected a lot more than he does.
He deserves a new contract. He has earned the right to stay at Man United but I still hope that the club will bring a goalkeeper to compete with him. Every player needs competition.”
Manchester United are delighted by Wout Weghorst's loan form – boosting his hopes of a permanent move.
The Burnley striker has been regarded as a stop-gap signing until a big-name permanent arrival in the summer.
But his decent form included a poacher's goal in last night's 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
Weghorst himself admitted he'd be interested in staying.
And Sky Sports News chief reporter Kaveh Solhekol said: "United are delighted with what he is doing both on and off the pitch and I'm told he is a model professional.
"Even though they are looking to sign a No 9 in the summer, he may well be kept on in any case."
Leeds striker Joe Gelhardt is off to Sunderland until the summer.
The Black Cats beat off Championship rivals to borrow the Liverpudlian, 20.
Tottenham are growing closer to a deal on Sporting Lisbon’s Pedro Porro.
The Portuguese club have been in talks with Spurs in recent days over securing a deal for the full-back.
And the Guardian report former Tottenham superstar Marcus Edwards has become a part of discussions.
The ex-Spurs youth player reportedly has a clause in his contract giving the London club 40 per cent of any fee that Sporting make for him.
It is believed that Spurs have offered to reduce that percentage in exchange for a cheaper fee for Porro.
Luton right-back James Bree has joined Southampton on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
The ex-Aston Villa man, 25, is the Prem bottom side's third January signing.
Boss Nathan jones earlier brought in Mislav Orsic and Carlos Alcaraz.
Jones said: “James is obviously someone who I know well from our time together at Luton, and he has the qualities both on the pitch and also in terms of his character to help us here.
“While we have really talented players in the full-back positions, we have been lighter on numbers than we would have liked, so the addition of James to the squad really helps us to address that.
"He’s also comfortable playing at centre-back too, so that versatility helps gives us another good option in a number of areas.”
Everton midfielder and reported Arsenal target Amadou Onana is said to have rejected Chelsea.
The £50million-rated Belgium anchorman, 21, has been an ever-present since his £35million summer arrival from Lille.
It's been claimed today he would be happy to see out the season with the second-bottom Toffees.
But talk of Chelsea failing with an approach is likely to boost his fellow admirers Arsenal.
The Blues are also looking at Benfica's Enzo Fernandez and Brighton hero Moises Caicedo as they aim to add one more midfielder before the transfer window shuts.
Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic is OFF Manchester United's January agenda.
That's according to The Express, despite suggestions the Red Devils might try to add another attacker in the next five days.
It's claimed United boss Erik ten Hag must be cautious with his spending this month.
The Dutchman has only added two signings, both on loan – Crystal Palace keeper Jack Butland and Burnley forward Wout Weghorst.
Chelsea are talking to Lyon about a fee for right-back Malo Gusto, reports say.
The Blues lack cover out wide in defence.
And journalist Simon Phillips told GiveMeSport that Chelsea's interest in the 19-year-old has now stepped up.
And transfer guru Fabrizio Romano also says ‘Chelsea are in direct contact’ with Lyon but they hope to keep the France Under-21 star on loan until the summer.
Vitoria Guimaraes anchorman Ibrahima Bamba could be Arsenal's third January signing.
Boss Mikel Arteta admits he wants more cover in central midfield.
And Italian Bamba, 20,is enjoying a breakthrough season in the Portuguese top flight.
Denzel Dumfries' agent reportedly flew in for talks with Prem clubs.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Newcastle are thought to be keen on Inter Milan's Holland right-back.
And the Italian giants might consider doing business for around £40million.

Bournemouth have entered the race for Nicolo Zaniolo.
The ambitious south-coast side are competing with AC Milan and Manchester United for the Roma star.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Zaniolo’s priority is AC Milan but adds: “Bournemouth have offered €30m [£26m] fee plus add-ons and 10% sell-on clause to AS Roma. Milan are offering loan with buy clause, no agreement yet.”
Allan Saint-Maximin wants to leave Newcastle, according to reports.
The winger has attracted interest across Europe but it is not clear if Toon will let him leave.
Saint-Maximin's representatives have offered him to AC Milan, report Calciomercato.
The Serie A outfit have been linked to the Frenchman in the past but are reportedly put off by Newcastle's asking price.
So instead they are planning to sign Saint-Maximin on loan, with the option to make the move permanent.
They also want to sign Roma star Nicolo Zaniolo – a player who has interested Newcastle. But if they miss out on the Italian they could swoop for Saint-Maximin, 25.
And Toon may decided to sell if they manage to complete a deal for Everton's Anthony Gordon. Newcastle were believed to have submitted an offer worth £40million for Gordon, with Everton hoping for around £60m.
But the youngster is trying to push through a move and has failed to show at training for the past three days.
Arsenal legend Ian Wright is adamant Mykhailo Mudryk snubbed a move to the Emirates in favour of Chelsea because of the money.
Mudryk looked set to join the Gunners in the January transfer window after the Premier League leaders offered Shakhtar Donetsk €70million (£62m) and €30m (£26m) in add-ons.
Mudryk also appeared keen to join the North Londoners as he shared a raft of posts on social media in which he strongly hinted he wants that move.
But the Blues swooped in at the 11th hour to match Arsenal's bid with an offer that had a better structure and landed the winger.
Wright told Arseblog: "With Mudryk I was very excited about that.
"With the money it started to get into the realm where it could knock us off our axis in terms of what we’re trying to do. He looks like the kind of guy that would fit into our group.
"I was a bit disappointed but not disappointed that Arsenal went ‘that’s fine’. He’s gone there for money, I’m not going to blame him because he’s someone who has had a lot more going on around him personally and in his life.
"We cannot talk about how much money he wants to take for whatever reason. I’m not even going there if I’m being totally honest. I was just disappointed we weren’t able to get him because of how good he is."
Manchester United have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Marco Asensio with Barcelona keen on the winger.
Asensio has been linked with a Premier League move over the last few years.
Liverpool and Arsenal have been credited with an interest in the Real Madrid star but United were reportedly considering a summer move.
Asensio, 27, is out of contract in the summer and Barcelona have made contact with him according to Sport.
Everton star Amadou Onana has snubbed a move to Chelsea which could open the door for Arsenal to get revenge for their Mykhailo Mudryk hijacking.
Onana‘s future on Merseyside looks bleak after Sky Sports reported that he failed to report to training on Tuesday.
And the Telegraph claimed that Chelsea, who were desperate to sign a midfielder this month, have shown an interest.
But French outlet L’Equipe now believe the 21-year-old has decided against a Stamford Bridge switch.
That could open the door for Arsenal, who are reportedly interested in the midfielder following an injury to Mohamed Elneny.
