There are millions of people in California who are getting a new round of of checks that will go up to $1,050, they are inflation relief payments. People who are getting this will see their bank accounts getting it throughout Friday. According to the Franchise Tax Board, these payments will be issued through direct deposits in different phases. They will be based on how people received their previous stimulus payments, according to specific information from Nexstar.
If you filed your taxes electronically in 2020 and got a state tax refund by direct deposit, you will also get the Middle Class tax Refund in the same way. Residents who got the first or second round of the Golden State Stimulus payments is the first group to grab this cash, they will also get it through a direct deposit. California citizens have already been getting payments between October 7 and 25.
All of those who still haven’t gotten their direct deposit will get their payment between October 28 and November 14. You need to be patient in order to get it, everybody who is eligible will get paid. Folks who aren’t set up for direct deposits and have gotten the Golden State Stimulus payment via debit card will get a new debit card between October 25 and December 10.
The final phase of these payments will be issued on January 15, 2023. And the Franchise Tax Board will offer the new schedule once the date gets closer. About 90% of payments will be issued in October, with 95% total issued before the end of 2022. State officials confirmed that about 23 million Californians are getting these payments.
