The Wisconsin Badgers fell to the Iowa Hawkeyes this weekend in a 24-10 loss and remained on the outside of the latest USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll. The loss also likely took Wisconsin out of the competition for the Big Ten West title.
The Badgers were not the only team with a huge loss this weekend, as the Illinois Fighting Illini were upset by the Purdue Boilermakers and fell outside of the latest poll. The Penn State Nittany Lions moved up three spots to No. 13, after a shutout victory over the Terrapins and big losses from Oregon, Mississippi and UCLA.
The USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll top 10 for this week includes Utah(10), Clemson(9), Alabama(8), Louisiana State(7), Southern California(6), Tennessee(5), Texas Christian(4), Michigan(3), Ohio State(2) and Georgia(1).
The Badgers will move on this week to face the Nebraska Cornhuskers on the road before finishing their season at home against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
