Moment gang of yobs hunt van driver in terrifying motorway chase and jump out of BMW to attack him as he… – The Sun

THIS is the shocking moment a gang of yobs hunted a van driver in a "terrifying" motorway chase.
During the heart-stopping ordeal, the group jump out of their BMW in the middle of the motorway multiple times, attacking the van driver as he tries to flee.
The dramatic chase, which happened along the A55 in Wales, was captured on another motorist's dashcam.
It has been labelled "astonishing and appalling" by a judge, NorthWales Live reported.
The yobs can be seen throwing items, like plastic water bottles, at the van, before blocking its path and kicking the vehicle.
While out of the car, one of the men can be seen carrying a metal bar, while another kicks the van.
The footage was played at the Caernarfon Crown Court yesterday as the four men were sentenced over the chase, which happened in September last year.
Judge Timothy Petts called it a "prolonged, persistent and deliberate course of very bad driving".
The court heard how the BMW driver Ali Najam, 26, and his passengers Said Sadat, Pedro Bergantim and Demi Ward, all of Greater Manchester, were in North Wales at the time.
They had an altercation with the van driver, Sean Powell, and said he had driven over one of their feet.
After the chase, Mr Powell managed to eventually get off the A55, and the men in the BMW were arrested a short time later.
Yesterday, prosecutor Richard Edwards relayed that the nature of the chase had been "terrifying" for Mr Powell, while Judge Petts told the men it was "astonishing and appalling".
Najam was jailed for 22 months for affray and 15 months concurrent for dangerous driving, and Sadat, 23 was jailed for 18 months for affray.
Bergantim, 22, and Ward, 21, were given suspended sentences for affray.
It's not uncommon for dashcams to capture shocking moments on the roads.
Just this week footage of a reckless driver ramming three police cars in a bid to escape arrest came to light.
In the clip, the cop cars can be seen swarming around a vehicle, before the driver tries to flee – colliding with all of them and injuring an officer.
One video recently appeared online of a van narrowly avoiding a high speed, head-on crash.
It was uploaded to TikTok and shows the van driver making a badly timed overtake.
Another clip also recently surfaced online of the moment a driver cheated death on a motorway.
The footage was shot using a dashcam from a car behind the incident, which happened on the M60 near Manchester.
