MI5 seeks health guru to spy on the waistlines of UK spooks… – The Sun

BRITAIN’S secret service is recruiting a health guru to keep a watchful eye on our spies’ waistlines.
The exec will ensure they don’t get too tubby as they fight threats from hostile elements.
Bosses at intelligence service MI5 are looking for a £45,000-a-year occupational health expert to look after operatives in London.
But they are not keeping the move quiet.
They have advertised the role — which includes “educating our staff on dietary and health matters”.
Staff at the service’s HQ are prone to piling on the pounds as they enjoy hearty dishes such as steak pie and chips and treacle sponge and custard in a subsidised canteen.
The new recruit will show them how to sit at their desks properly to avoid stress and strain, as well as advise them on diets.
The job ad reveals: “One day you could be advising on workplace adjustments, the next helping our teams shape the medical requirements for our intelligence collection teams and educating our staff on dietary and health matters.”
The successful applicant will be supported by “medical professionals and professional health bodies”.
It comes after another ad from MI5 said potential spies would only need a “reasonable” level of fitness and should be comfortable “walking and sitting”.
Applicants for the £38,000 role were able to have a body mass index (BMI) of up to 30, even though a BMI of between 25 and 30 is considered overweight.
The agency also boasts the Top Secret Cinema Club where members can enjoy spy movie nights that include James Bond films.
