1. Managed XDR Services: CyAlly, an MSSP in McKinney, Texas, has launched managed XDR (eXtended Detection and Response) services for enterprises, service providers, and governments. CyAlly did not mention if or how the company is leveraging third-party software tools to deliver the MXDR services.
2. Windows Defender Warning: Threat actors are abusing the Windows Defender command line tool MpCmdRun.exe to decrypt and load Cobalt Strike payloads, SentinelOne reported.
3. Talent – Threat Hunting: Tego Cyber has hired Alissa V. Knight as chief marketing officer.
4. Business Momentum: BlueVoyant, which launched in 2017, has grown to support more than 700 customers across 30 countries. The company has 650 employees in more than 20 countries. Revenue and profit figures were not disclosed.
5. Cyber Entrepreneurs: Coro, which develops a security platform for mid-market organizations, has launched an Incubiz program to “help entrepreneurs build and grow a successful business” in the cybersecurity market.
6. Partnership – Government Cybersecurity: Carahsoft has agreed to serve as CloudCover’s Master Government Aggregator. The result: CloudCover’s risk transfer insurance products are available to the Public Sector through Carahsoft’s reseller partners and on various NASA contracts.
