JOHN Barrowman has cancelled his UK tour amid poor ticket sales.
The actor and performer was set to perform his new show 'I Am What I Am' at the Glasgow's SEC Armadillo in February next year.
But he broke news to fans on social media that he was axing his UK tour dates after the "hardest few years of his life."
The Instagram post read: "It is with huge regret that we have decided to cancel the UK tour.
"Unfortunately, ticket sales in certain parts of the UK have been slow, and with the increased costs of touring it is no longer economically viable to continue.
"This is a decision that has not been taken lightly, and I know many of my fans will be very upset, as am I.
"Personally I am devastated and like many people I have found the last years extremely difficult, possibly the hardest few years of my life.
"When it gets tough it is sometimes better to stop and re-evaluate and that is exactly what I am going to do.
"I am so sorry to all my fans."
Fans of Barrowman took to social media to share their disappointment over his show being cancelled.
One wrote: "Very sad you've had to cancel the tour, but high praise to you for being so honest about the reason & not stringing people along with an excuse.
"I hope that the tour can be put on again in the near future."
Another said: "I’m gutted that the tour has been cancelled but can completely understand why. You need to do what’s right for you. Take care of yourself."
A third added: "I'm sorry for you too, we know you can't do anything else. See you on stage since more 10 years, I see you love it, it's not your fault."
It was claimed in summer 2021 that the 55-year-old had "exposed himself" on set while filming the BBC Doctor Who spin-off series.
John insisted he had only done so to "entertain" his colleagues and denied it was sexual harassment, but the furore led to him leaving Dancing on Ice ahead of this year's series in January.
John has kept a relatively low profile since and deleted his Twitter profile last week.
In June, the actor was caught up in a horror car crash in Berlin that saw dozens of people injured when a motor careered into crowds of people and and crashed into a shopping centre.
