India emerges as the top nation in freshers hiring, followed by the APAC region, America, the Middle East, Europe, and Africa Globally, employers are gaining confidence in hiring, as there is an uptrend in Intent to Hire compared to the previous HY


 TeamLease EdTech Career Outlook Report 2022 makes an interesting revelation that states, India outperforms all geographic regions across the world by a large margin of 59% for the current HY (July- December 2022) in fresher hiring. Global hiring intent currently stands at 11%, with the USA at 15%, APAC at 20%, Europe at 5%, the Middle East at 6%, and Africa at 2%. In comparison, the Intent to Hire freshers in India is stellar at 59%. 
Globally, employers are gaining confidence in hiring post-two-year hiatus of the pandemic. There is an evident uptrend in Intent to Hire. Global intent to hire in HY (Jan-June 2022) was 7%  V/S 11% in HY (Jul- Dec 2022). 
In sync with the job market, there is an increased demand for global in-demand courses that include a certificate or UG/PG in Digital marketing, Al/ML, Supply chain, Web designing, Big data engineering, Financial Accounting and Taxation, Blockchain, etc, to name a few. From an industry perspective, Information Technology, Ecommerce & Technology Start-ups and Telecommunications are the most promising sectors for freshers with 65%, 48% and 47% employers showing the intent to hire, respectively.
TeamLease EdTech Career Report HY2 is based on 865 businesses ranging from small, medium, and large enterprises in India’s manufacturing, services, and technology sectors. From a global perspective, data pertains to Africa, the USA, APAC, Europe, and the Middle East.
