Heartbreak as ‘cherished’ schoolgirl dies suddenly leaving fellow students devastated… – The Sun

A "CHERISHED" schoolgirl has died suddenly leaving staff and students heartbroken.
The Year 12 schoolgirl, was a student at The Arthur Terry School in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham,
In a letter to parents, the headteacher confirmed the heartbreaking news and said the schoolgirl would be "missed by everyone".
The sixth-former had joined the Four Oaks school in Year 7 and was a popular member of the school community.
In a heartfelt tribute, Samantha Kibble said: “It is with great sadness that I write to inform you of the tragic death of one of our Year 12 students.
"She was a cherished member of our school, attending school since Year 7.
"She will be missed by everybody at the school. Our thoughts are with the family at this time, and on behalf of the school community we have been in touch to offer our condolences and support.”
Year 12 students have been told the sad news, with Mrs Kibble saying they had been given the chance to "spend time together" and with staff "to allow us all to remember her together and to support each other".
The school encouraged pupils to be "open about their feelings" with their tutors and said it would offer help through its Student Support Services and further external support, if needed.
Mrs Kibble said: “We will ensure the school provides support to all our students who may be affected.”
And the headteacher said the school would soon give its Year 12 students the opportunity to remember their friend, reports Birmingham Live.
Mrs Kibble added: “We will, in the near future, arrange for our Year 12 students to have the opportunity to remember and celebrate her life.”
