EX-BAKE Off host Sue Perkins has revealed she has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
She made the revelation in a post to Gomez guitarist Tom Gray who said he was “creeping” towards his own ADHD diagnosis.
Sue tweeted: “I have fully crept. Once I had the diagnosis, everything made sense — to me and those who love me. Wishing you well on the journey, Tom x”
ADHD is more commonly spotted in childhood.
It can be diagnosed via psychological tests, including a brain scan.
Symptoms can include difficulty concentrating, hyperactivity and impulsiveness.
Sue, 53, previously revealed a benign brain tumour “sometimes screws up my hormones”.
In 2019, Spice Girl Mel B said she had ADHD but exercise helped.
And TV and radio presenter Richard Bacon, 47, has said medication, drinking less alcohol and eating more protein makes him “a more attentive, calmer presence”.
ADHD affects three to four per cent of adults, with most cases undiagnosed.
There has recently been an uptake in women seeking help for the condition.
