Eastern Michigan University hosts 2021 Digital Marketing Workshop featuring keynote speaker Brent Bowles, vice president of Digital Marketing, Wells Fargo – EMU Today

YPSILANTI – The Eastern Michigan University Center for Digital Engagement will wrap-up a week of on-line digital marketing workshop panels with a special luncheon featuring Brent Bowles, vice president of Digital Marketing for Wells Fargo on Friday, Nov. 12, at the Eastern Michigan University Student Center, 900 Oakwood St, Ypsilanti. Those interested in participating can register via Eventbrite for a discounted rate of $20 by using the code DMW2021.
Building on the theme, “Digital Renaissance”, speakers from numerous organizations including The Sam Bernstein Law Firm, Google, Pinterest, The Lip Bar, Skidmore Studio, and Green Route will present complimentary online panels beginning at noon Monday, Nov. 8 through Thursday, Nov. 11. The panels will conclude with the luncheon.
“Like years past, our goal each day of the Workshop is to leave attendees with actionable insights that they can apply directly in their digital marketing efforts,” said EMU Center for Digital Engagement Professor Bud Gibson.
In addition to the wide variety of speakers, event organizers are optimistic about what attendees will gain from Bowles’ track record.
“Brent is part of the leadership team that built Wells Fargo’s performance marketing from experimental efforts to a powerful organization with an annual nine- figure budget,” said Gibson. “Brent will highlight the challenges of building digital marketing in a highly regulated sector, managing a distributed workforce and emerging trends in digital finance.”
“I hope attendees gain a better understanding of how the role of digital is evolving and growing,” said Bowles. “I’m looking forward to fielding questions from the audience on any of the themes of the workshop.”
To attend any session, pre-register through the Digital Marketing Workshop event page. All luncheon attendees must follow EMU's COVID-19 protocols for indoor events including day of screening and masking as described via the EMU Safe program.
