So if you're wondering "What college football games are on today?" know this: There are five involving FBS teams scheduled for today, Friday, Sept. 30.
Note: Games are ordered by start time. All times are ET.
Tulane at Houston – 7 p.m. on ESPN, live stream on fuboTV (Start your free trial)
It's the American Athletic Conference opener for both teams. Tulane is off to a great start thanks to a not-so-difficult non-conference schedule while Houston has already faced undefeated Kansas, fellow Big 12 member Texas Tech and defending Conference USA champion UTSA. Will the different paths traveled in September show up on Friday night?
UTSA at Middle Tennessee – 7:30 p.m. on CBSSN, live stream on fuboTV (Start your free trial)
Middle Tennessee is still riding high after last weekend's monumental (and convincing) upset of Miami. UTSA is the defending Conference USA champion and has already faced Texas, Houston and Army. Can the Blue Raiders keep rolling at home?
San Diego State at Boise State – 8 p.m. on FS1, live stream on fuboTV (Start your free trial)
It's been a tumultuous week for Boise State and the Broncos will have a new offensive coordinator and starting quarterback for this game. San Diego State is likewise struggling with its offense. Points may be hard to come by on the blue turf.
No. 15 Washington at UCLA – 10:30 p.m. on ESPN, live stream on fuboTV (Start your free trial)
Undefeated Washington comes to the Rose Bowl to face a UCLA team that has somewhat quietly also started 4-0. This will be the Huskies' first road game and by far the Bruins' toughest test to date.
New Mexico at UNLV – 11 p.m. on CBSSN, live stream on fuboTV (Start your free trial)
Don't look now but UNLV is 3-1. The Rebels can build off their best start in more than a decade (and improve to 2-0 in Mountain West play) by taking care of business at home against a New Mexico team that got shut out at LSU last weekend.
