A man has been charged with the murder of his elderly mother.
Beatrice Corry, 84, died after an incident just after midnight in High Street, Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire, on Friday, where she was found with head injuries.
Her son Matthew Corry, 45, of High Street, Chipping Campden, will appear before Gloucestershire Magistrates' Court in Cheltenham on Monday.
He has been charged with her murder, Gloucestershire Constabulary said.
"A man has been charged in connection with the death of an elderly woman in Chipping Campden on 6 January," a spokesman for the force said.
"Matthew Corry has today been charged with the murder of his mother Beatrice Corry."
