"Ok, I’ve given in, Christmas is here! Nothingbtondonwith the mince pies and mulled wine on offer at all! Merry Christmas!" Irwin, who is living with terminal cancer, wrote alongside the collection.
In the pictures, Irwin beamed next to Rex, with his wife Jess also by his side, wrapping up against the cold with thick coats and festive jumpers.
Later on, they settled down for a cup of hot chocolate, before seeing Santa in his lodge, where Rex shared what he wanted for Christmas.

The family later took a group selfie with Santa, who gave a thumbs up to the camera.
In another picture, the trio posed in front of animatronic reindeer heads that were mounted on the wall.

The jolly holiday day out comes as Irwin, 49, prepares for the possibility this may be his last Christmas.
In November, the Place In The Sun star revealed his cancer diagnosis was terminal, and that he could have up to just six months to live.
Irwin's diagnosis — initially lung cancer before it spread to his brain — was hidden from the public for two years as he wanted to continue life as normal, and feared people would 'treat him differently'.

Now he hopes to make the most of the time he has left with his family.
"I don’t know how long I have left, but I try to stay positive and my attitude is that I'm living with cancer, not dying from it," he told Hello! Magazine.
"I set little markers – things I want to be around for. I got into the habit of saying: 'Don't plan ahead because I might not be well enough.' But now I want to make plans.
"I want to make memories and capture these moments with my family because the reality is, my boys are going to grow up not knowing their dad and that breaks my heart."
