Shocking moment gang of more than 10 thugs battered lone woman, 19, as she lay defenceless in the street… – The Sun

THIS is the terrifying moment a defenceless young woman was battered by a gang of vicious thugs.
Footage shows the victim, 19, being savagely beaten by around 10 people in South London as she lay in the street.
The mob can be seen knocking the woman to the ground and then laying into her with boots and fists as she tries desperately to protect her face and head.
She was attacked from all sides on Saturday at around 10pm.
Cops confirmed that they attended the scene and the crowd fled as they arrived.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "Officers attended and it was reported that a 19-year-old woman had been assaulted by another woman.
"She was taken to hospital where her injuries were assessed as not life threatening."
No arrests have been made.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call 101 and quote reference number CAD 7131/28Aug.
If witnesses wish to remain anonymous they can call independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
This is the latest in a spate of summer violence in the capital.
Just two weeks before this attack, a man was stabbed to death in front of horrified shoppers near Oxford Street.
One man was arrested for the crime but has not been named.
Similarly, in July, two men were shot dead within just four miles of one another in a 24-hour bloodbath.
