KING Charles is determined to have Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attend his coronation, but William fears it will turn into a "stunt", royal sources claim.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are yet to announce whether they will attend the King's coronation on May 6.
Sources close to Charles told Vanity Fair the King is likely to invite the Sussexes “because it is the right thing to do and will hopefully pave the way for peace.”
“Charles is a forgiving person by nature, and he wants to move on,” says another.
Meanwhile, the Mail on Sunday reports Prince William is said to be concerned Harry will use the historic event to stage a "stunt" that would overshadow the day.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have "no chance" of a royal reconciliation as the couple are accused of "constantly bashing" their family.
Speaking on behalf of Spin Genie, royal commentator Charles Rae claimed: “I do not think there is any chance, in the short term, of any reconciliation between the Sussexes and the rest of the family.
"So many accusations by Harry and Meghan have been made, but lots of families have fallouts and in many cases there have been reconciliation, sometimes years later."
The royal expert also explained why he believes the Firm has avoided responding to Prince Harry's explosive accusations.
He said: “I think it has been and still is very difficult for Prince William in particular to speak out, not just about the particular accusations against the Prince of Wales, but for the very fact that both William and Harry were so close. I also believe William feels very betrayed by his younger brother, who may well harbour the same feelings of betrayal by his older brother.”

A statement by Kensington Palace read: "In the film, we see Layla navigate her way through various experiences as a newborn, a toddler and young child, with the help of those around her.
"The film shows how her interactions with people and places— from her parents’ cuddles, to a reassuring arm on her shoulder from a nursery teacher and supportive cheer from a swimming teacher—stimulate her brain and development."

A royal commentator has claimed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expecting an apology from the Royal Family before they consider reconciliation.

"They’re so broadly criticized by Harry, so nastily criticized in sections, that I think they could be feeling very sore about this."

A royal expert has examined how King Charles will adapt to being Britain's monarch in the coming years.
Speaking on behalf of Spin Genie, royal commentator Charles Rae reveals: “Charles in effect has a much shorter time than his mother to adapt and develop to his new role.
"However, I believe he will try to bring the monarchy up to date, especially in not having so many hangers on. I also believe he will continue with his duty to show the UK in the best possible light around the world.
"One thing that is a pity is that if the fallout had not happened, then Harry and Meghan would have been cornerstones in the new slimmed down monarchy.
"Their positions have been filled with great ease by Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex.
"I think it was always the wish for the Royal Family to have the Sussexes to play a key role.”

"Because by focusing our collective time, energy and resources on those most preventative years, we can make a huge difference to the physical and mental health and happiness of generations to come."
