Prince Harry news: Meghan Markle & duke told to ‘grow-up’ as popularity drops after string of ‘ugly’ attack… – The Sun

MEGHAN Markle & Prince Harry were told to "grow up" by the US public as their popularity drops for "airing dirty laundry in public".
Their plummeting popularity coincides with the publication of Prince Harry’s memoir, Spare, and a string of high-profile interviews as well as a divisive Netflix documentary.
Last week an exclusive poll for Newsweek magazine showed the Duke had dropped 45 points in US public opinion, while Meghan Markle dropped 36 points — all in just one month.
And The Sun spoke to people across America with Marlon Bradford, 49, blasting: “Harry should have recognised he’s not like the rest of us and not exposed all that dirty linen. It’s an ugliness we don’t really want to see, even though all families have that side to them. It’s made so many people uncomfortable.”
Meanwhile Daisy Graham, 21, fumed: “They have all this privilege, but still whinge about it. It makes me think, ‘Come on, grow up’. It’s like they’re telling us they have all this nice stuff but she’s moaning about wearing a certain colour to an event. I mean, really?”

Meghan Markle’s half-sister Samantha Markle, 58, said Prince Harry is “lacking in empathy, remorse, and shame”.
Speaking with GB News, Samantha said: “I think [Harry] is lacking in empathy, remorse, and shame.
“He is showing a clear disconnect with reality and is so emotionally underdeveloped that he can’t move on from this stage where he has resentment over a whole host of issues.
“I don’t think he can think like an adult because I don’t think emotionally he is one.
“It’s really par for the course that he’s behaving in this bitter and delusionary way.
Asked about whether she thought King Charles should apologise to the Sussexes, she added: “It would come with a great deal of risk and, I believe, be absolutely dangerous to do so.
“If King Charles apologises to them, he is opening the door for more abuse.
“That’s what happens when you apologise to sociopaths and narcissists. You find yourself beating a dead horse.
“And he cannot be apathetic and enable that sort of manipulation and control.”

Royal biographer Tom Bower said Prince Harry was “groomed” by Meghan Markle and she was the driving force behind his controversial tell-all memoir Spare.
The expert claimed that before meeting Harry, Meghan had “constantly” sought out platforms to become a relevant speaker on social issues.
Bower said: “She wanted to be Angelina Jolie; a celebrity and a famous influencer. But she was irrelevant.
“Being with Harry gave her that opportunity and she played him from the start.
“Harry was groomed by Meghan.
“Her wedding guests were all Hollywood, not family, which shows her agenda.
“She always wanted to go back to Hollywood.”
He added: “His book is really Meghan’s. Meghan is the person who has dictated this agenda.”
In the acknowledgements section of his book, the prince says Meg was his “logical, physical, emotional and spiritual” inspiration.

Prince George and Prince Charlotte call Prince William “Poachy” after they were inspired by top TV chef Ainsley Harriott.
He told The Sun about how it all started with an interview he did with Greg James on Radio 1.
Ainsely said: “We did this thing about whether you take a bath or not. What do you do in the bath, and I was like sometimes you have a little wee in the bath. You don’t mean to but there’s something about that relaxation. We then talked about cooking fish in the bath. Greg asked ‘could you cook a fish in the bath?’
“I said ‘yeah, if it’s a little bit of seabass or plaice or something like that’. You wouldn’t want a thick bit of fish because it wouldn’t poach. Anyway, apparently Prince William and Kate were taking George and Charlotte to school and they found it hysterical.
“He [Wills] came in to do an interview at the studio, and he called over Greg James and said ‘the kids love it. They loved that you were talking about eating fish in the water’.
“Why hello there, Jill’ – which went viral after he greeted a surprised competition winner on live TV with those very words – to “Why hello there, Will. Poachy, poachy, poachy.”
“George and Charlotte now call their dad Poachy. Isn’t that sweet and so lovely? [laughs].”
Royal experts have warned the upcoming coronation of King Charles could be faced with chaos as a result of shocking allegations yet to come in three new books.
This morning it was reported that Virgina Giuffre, the woman who accused Prince Andrew of sexual abuse, could release a bombshell book just before the coronation takes place.
The news comes after the firm is said to be bracing for Meghan Markle to release her own memoir.
Royal biographer Angela Levin believes “all of this may come to a head just before the coronation”.
She told The Sun: “It’s a huge burden and it's such a shame.
“It’s the first coronation since 1953 and it just looks as though people are doing this deliberately just to spoil it.''

Before Prince Harry found love with Meghan Markle, he is said to have been "smitten" with European princess Marie-Olympia of Greece and Denmark.
Australian magazine New Idea reported Princess Beatrice had introduced Harry to the then 19-year-old, following his break up from Cressida Bonas in 2014.
The family were already familiar with Olympia, now 26, as King Charles is her godfather and her late grandfather King Constantine II’s second cousin.
Away from her regal routes, Olympia shares friendships with Paris and Nicky Hilton.
And like Harry, she likes to party – once causing an uproar by posting a picture of her holding up her middle finger on a night out in Rome

While appearing on the Apple Fitness + podcast Time to Walk, Prince William revealed the 80s hit that he and his mother used to sing together.
He told the podcast: “When I was younger, Harry and I, we were at boarding school. And my mother used to play all sorts of songs to kind of while away the anxiety of going back to school.
“And one of the songs I massively remember and has stuck with me all this time, and I still, to this day, still quite enjoy secretly, is Tina Turner’s “The Best” because sitting in the backseat, singing away, it felt like a real family moment.
“And my mother, she’d be driving along, singing at the top of her voice. And we’d even get the policeman in the car, he’d be occasionally singing along, as well.”

Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson inherited the late-Queen‘s beloved corgis following her death in September last year.
But they will not be feeding them with plain old supermarket kibble.
Speaking about the dogs’ diet, royal chef Darren McGrady told Hello!: “The beef would come in, we would cook it, dice it into really fine pieces and then we did the same with the chicken.
“We’d poach them, and again chop them really, really small to make sure there were no bones so the dogs wouldn’t choke.”
Andrew and Fergie still live together at Royal Lodge, despite divorcing in 1996.
