USA Shooting shotgun athletes are kicking off the year with the 2023 International Shooting Sport Federation World Cup in Rabat, Morocco, from January 11-24.
The U.S. Shotgun Team is entering the year on a hot streak, with all signs pointing to a repeat of the successful performances posted in 2022. Last year, U.S. shotgun athletes earned a total of 14 medals at the Championships of the Americas, plus nine medals at the World Championships. U.S. shotgun athletes have also earned the nation Olympic quotas for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in the following events: Women’s Skeet (two), Men’s Skeet (two), Women’s Trap (one) and Men’s Trap (two).
