Remember that big yellow thing that appears in the sky? It's called the sun and it's been a bit of a stranger recently.
Dark clouds have covered Gloucestershire bringing heavy downpours and the risk of flooding in recent days. But is there a golden lining to the clouds just over the horizon?
The Met Office has raised hopes of some sun if we are just patient a little bit more. By Friday, there could be hours of unbroken sunshine.

Before the sun puts its hat on, we've got lots more rain in Gloucestershire on Tuesday from 4pm to around 9pm when it finally clears, temperatures up to 13C and to a low of 6C. Wednesday also will see lots more heavy rain from noon to 3pm and again overnight into Thursday, with the mercury up to only 8C and down to 6C
Thursday itself will see less rain, with only some light showers in the mid-afternoon after an overcast morning. Temperatures will rise to 11C and fall to 7C.
Friday brings the sun out in all its glory, according to the latest from the Met Office. It is forecasting sunshine from dusk to dawn before cloud rolls.
