Another All-American team, another round of Iowa Hawkeyes finding their names among some of the best in the nation. The Hawkeyes have no shortage of talent and have developed that talent into some of the best in the country at their respective positions.
USA TODAY Sports has named two members of the Hawkeyes to their All-American teams. Jack Campbell was selected as a First Team All-American linebacker. Tory Taylor was named the Second Team All-American punter.
These two have had no shortage of postseason accolades come their way and each of them have deservedly earned all things. Campbell is finding himself among first team ballots on nearly every single outlet while Taylor is accompanying him and even being named the best punter in the nation by other outlets.
Campbell can add this feather to a cap that includes a long list of other award. He was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, won the Dick Butkus Award as the nation’s best linebacker, took home the William V. Campbell Trophy, and a selection among the AP First Team All-American team.
Tory Taylor saw a few wrongful snubs as he was clearly the nation’s best punter but he is making up for it with this selection to go along with his selection to the FWAA First Team-All American team.
