USC made history last season when it allowed 62 points to UCLA in the Los Angeles Coliseum. This year, the Trojans intend to make good history and instantly restore the reputation of USC football after the disastrous Clay Helton years.
One good way the Trojans will make history in 2022: They will be part of something Fox Sports has never done.
Big Fox — the over-the-air network, not Fox Sports 1 or Fox Sports 2 — will air a quadrupleheader of college football games on a Saturday for the first time ever. Fox has aired tripleheaders, but not a four-pack of games in one day. On Saturday, Sept. 17, in Week 3 of the 2022 season, that will change. USC’s game against Fresno State in the Coliseum is the nightcap to the proceedings. We’ll lay out all four games below, plus Fox’s college football pregame show. It’s a 16-hour football feast, and Lincoln Riley will be part of it.
