PARANOID Vladimir Putin seems shaky and unstable as he gets off the plane after taking elaborate measures to avoid being shot down by Ukrainian troops.
The Russian leader who flew to Belarus today to meet his close ally Alexander Lukashenko, is believed to have taken off from St Petersburg – rather than Moscow to avoid passing close to Ukraine.
Meanwhile, another two aircraft took off at the same time to “confuse the enemy” according to Belarus opposition channel motolkohelp.
Video footage shows a shaky Russian President giving a little jump as he came down the stairways from his plane.
He was greeted with bread and flowers by two women before meeting Lukashenko.
Lukashenko’s son Nikolai, 18, tipped as his successor, greeted him at the airport alongside his father.
A security official with Putin appeared to be carrying a body armour briefcase.
Mad Vlad was reported to have received a fighter escort as he approached Minsk.
He is believed to have flown to Minsk – for his first visit in three years – on a "Flying Kremlin'" jet, a special Il-96-300PU.
“According to our information, Vladimir Putin flew to Minsk on this plane,” said the Telegram channel.
“For conspiracy purposes, three government planes he uses were put in the air at the same time – RA-96022, RA-96014 and RA-96020.”
By approaching from the north Putin flew closer to NATO states Latvia and Lithuania – but was clear of Ukraine.
There has been speculation behind the Russian leader's rare visit, suggesting he would pressure Lukashenko to send troops to Ukraine to fight alongside Russian forces following a string of humiliating defeats.
Ukrainian government official Anton Gerashchenko tweeted: "Putin visited Belarus for the first time since June 2019.
"Presumably, he arrived to persuade Lukashenko about direct involvement in the war."
However, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, dismissed the reports "as totally stupid, groundless fabrications."
Putin told his Belarusian ally that he hoped to deepen economic ties between the countries during the visit and praised Belarus as "our ally in the truest sense of the word".
Putin was accompanied in Minsk by his defence minister Sergei Shoigu and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
Reports say that Putin is constantly accompanied by cancer doctors when he travels.
There has been speculation about Putin's deteriorating health over the past few years amid rumours he is battling a serious illness.
It has been alleged that the Russian President is suffering from a number of illnesses -including cancer, Parkinson’s disease and a schizoaffective disorder.
His rare visit comes right after Russian forces launched a drone attack in Kyiv that triggered emergency blackouts in several regions.
