TWO missing Scots teenagers who were last seen at a notorious Glasgow spot have been found safe and well
The pair vanished early yesterday morning as temperatures plunged to -9C.
Abbie Pereira, 15, and Charlie Vallance, 14, both from Kilwinning, Ayrshire, were last seen around 2.30am at the "Four Corners" in Glasgow, near Central Station.
Cops launched a frantic search for the missing youngsters who went missing during the coldest night of 2022.
Police issued a description of the missing teens to aid in the search as the urge the public to keep their eyes peeled as they became increasingly concerned for their safety.
An appeal was posted on police social media as part of the search effort.
But officers have now confirmed that the two girls have been traced and were found safe and well.
Cops previously the public to get in touch if they see the girls by calling 101.
A Police Scotland statement yesterday read: "Missing persons Charlie Vallance (14) and Abbie Pereira (15). Missing from Kilwinning area. Last reported sighting The Four Corners, Glasgow about 0230hrs today 12/12/2022.
"Charlie (left) – 5'2", slim, long fair/blonde hair, blue eyes, last seen wearing a black zipper top, black trousers, white Converse trainers.
"Abbie (right) – 5'5", stocky, shoulder-length brown hair, last seen wearing a grey Northface jacket, black leggings, red/black Nike Air Force trainers.
"Any info., please contact 101."
