Exact date snow to fall in UK as today’s 20C clear skies make way for flurries and heavy downpours… – The Sun

SNOW is set to fall over Britain from next week as clear skies today make way for the white stuff.
Temperatures are expected to reach highs of 20C today, with those in the South East enjoying the best of the sunshine.
But the balmy weather won't last into the week – with heavy downpours and even snow falling over parts.
According to the Met Office, the white stuff is expected over higher ground in Scotland from Monday.
Met Office forecaster Annie Shuttleworth told The Mirror: "From Monday there are some signals of some snow showers over the hills in Scotland, fairly typical for the time of year.
"We're not expecting snow in any low lying areas. Or any disruption from it."
She added: "From midweek onwards, temperatures are looking to return back to closer to average with more wetter and windier typical autumnal weather and no risk of snow."
It comes as temperatures momentarily rise this week, before dropping again over the weekend.
Met Office forecaster Aidan McGivern predicted a cool weekend for many, saying temperatures would be "below average for the second half of the weekend" and into Monday as well as Tuesday.
And he said this will mean lows in single figures across much of the UK.
Conditions are set to be warm, dry and bright for much of England and Wales today although things will be cloudier in the west.
Meanwhile heavy downpours are expected over Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Ms Shuttleworth explained: “Once that rain clears through on Friday through to the south east of the country we will see some relatively fresh air.
"It will feel chilly over night, with many areas reaching lower single figures – particularly in northern areas.
"But by the end of next week temperatures are picking up to just above average."
The Met Office forecast for Friday until Sunday, states: "Rain, heavy in places slow to clear the south Friday.
"Elsewhere a good deal of dry weather and the odd shower. Wet and windy weather reaching the north on Sunday."
