FORECASTERS have revealed the exact time that snow is set to hit the UK tonight as a 3C deep chill sweeps in.
Brits are also bracing for travel chaos – as a severe Yellow weather warning has been put in place for this weekend.
It comes after heavy overnight rain caused waterlogged roads this morning – with many cars getting stuck in floods.
And now WXCharts have revealed that the UK is set to be hit with the white stuff tonight.
Their weather charts show some parts of Britain will tonight see about 3cm of snow – starting at midnight.
It will keep falling through the night and early on into Sunday morning in parts of Northern Scotland – including Cairngorms National Park, Isle of Skye and Fort William.
Meanwhile much of Scotland is also under a Yellow weather warning from 3am tomorrow until 3pm.
The Met Office has warned that the flooding of homes and businesses is likely and bus and train services will probably be affected.
Meanwhile more snow is expected in the coming weeks, with the UK long range weather forecast warning that colder air will be moving in.
Forecasters say this scenario would increase the chance of snow across central areas.
And England fans could expect unsettled weather during the team's first World Cup match against Iran on Monday.
"There is more uncertainty than usual after Sunday," Mr Morgan said.
"It will probably be pretty unsettled, with some rain at times and possibly quite windy as well."
