Ex-Messenger columnist and crooner Wayne Devlin has his own radio show from this weekend.
The Wayne Devlin Show promises a range of tracks from The Great American Songbook, which Wayne himself has performed for more than 10 years.
Starting on November 20, the radio show is on RadioAlty on Sundays from 10am to 12pm.
Wayne, who received a British Citizen Award for services to the arts this year, said: “When I received the award, I wanted to give something back to the community that was arts related.
“So when the opportunity came along to have my own radio show, I jumped at the chance.
“My show will be like my newspaper column except this time I’ll have a soundtrack to accompany it. I will play the music I love, promote local and interview all kinds of interesting guests.
“I hope you’ll give my show the same support that you gave my newspaper column. I can’t wait to have your company for two hours each week.”
