About this Event
Salve Regina University is a champion of National Cyber Security Awareness Month. We participate in a growing global effort, to promote online safety awareness with the theme: "See Yourself in Cyber". #BeCyberSmart.
As part of our 2022 National Cyber Security Awareness Month programming, the Office of Information Technology is pleased to offer virtual "CyberEscape Room" challenges throughout the month of October, through the university's cybersecurity training partner, Living Security. These challenges are open to all current students, faculty and staff to participate in, with up to four people per team. Each team will have one leader, which can rotate for each puzzle that needs to be solved. The challenges above are approximiately 30 or 60 minutes to complete successfully. A count-down clock is provided as part of the challenge, similar to an in-person escape room. Challenge sessions are available everyday throughout the month of October from 9AM to 10PM.
All participants in the CyberEscape room will be entered into a raffle. Participants must complete the challenges (though it doesn't have to be successfully) to be entered into the raffle. Participants who complete multiple challenges can have their names entered multiple times for a greater chance at winning a prize (up to four, one entry for each challenge). A team prize will also be offered, using the same methodology.
