A MAN has been charged after a schoolgirl and a woman in her 30s were found knifed inside a house.
The victims suffered stab wounds and head injuries during an attack at a property in Sheffield early on Tuesday morning.
Emergency services rushed to an address at 12.04am.
A girl, 13, and a 35-year-old woman were discovered with injuries.
Both were taken to hospital where they luckily remain in non-life threatening conditions.
South Yorkshire Police last night charged a man in connection with the "domestic incident".
Marcus Hamlin, 30, of Sheffield, faces two counts of attempted murder following the attack.
He has been remanded in custody until a court date is given.
Officers are still keen to speak to any witnesses, in particular a person who was seen driving a dark coloured car along Harborough Way at the time of the incident, as they may hold vital information to help ongoing enquiries.
