Auburn Football: 247Sports predicts a perfect September for Auburn – Auburn Wire

The Auburn Tigers are already one of the most intriguing college football teams heading into the 2022 season.
After losing five straight games to close last season, which indirectly led to a coup to remove head coach Bryan Harsin from his job (which was a total fail, by the way), no one really knows what to expect from the Tigers.
Many people have cast Auburn aside, saying that the drama-filled offseason will be too much to overcome in one season. However, there seems to be a buzz building inside the program as more athletes are beginning to buy into Harsin’s methods.
While the expectations of Auburn football are scattered, there’s one news outlet that has released their prediction of Auburn’s schedule on a smaller scale.
247Sports recently shared their prediction of every SEC team’s record through the first month of the season. In a move that will surprise most Auburn fans, 247Sports says that Auburn will be perfect in September, going 4-0 to open the season.
Auburn playing their first five games of the season at home will play a huge factor in their early season success according to 247Sports’ Brad Crawford.
One of the more surprising picks in the league, Auburn may shock everyone and start with a perfect mark through four weeks if the Tigers are able to take care of business at home, which includes a showdown vs. Penn State and the league opener against Missouri. The first team to 10 points might win the Penn State-Auburn matchup given the expectation defensively for both teams. Auburn will not leave Jordan-Hare Stadium until Oct. 8 against Georgia, marking five consecutive home games to open the season. That’s ideal for coach Bryan Harsin — until it’s not.
