We are thrilled to be offering middle school sports starting this fall. We know that many of you and your students are excited, as well, and are eager for more information. With that in mind, here are some important details we want to share with you.
Cross Country (coed)- 6th, 7th and 8th graders- Fall 2022 (end of August – mid October)
Girls basketball- 6th, 7th and 8th graders- Fall/Winter 2022 (mid October – mid December)
Boys basketball- 6th, 7th and 8th graders- Winter/Spring 2023 (mid February – early April)
Participating in athletics is a privilege and we want our student-athletes to demonstrate great character both in sports and in the classroom. Student-athletes are expected to be respectful and participate in the classroom.
A student-athlete with 3 or more unexcused absences or 6 or more unexcused tardies will not be eligible for the next scheduled competition day. Attendance will be pulled between competition dates and if a student is found to have more than the number of unexcused absences or tardies listed above, they will be ineligible for the next scheduled competition date.
If a student-athlete is suspended (ISS or OSS) at any time during the season, they will be ineligible for the next scheduled competition day.
*This policy will be in place for all MS sports for the 2022-2023 school year ONLY.

*Adams 12 accepts any document signed by a physician clearing the student for athletic participation. You are welcome to use the CHSAA Sports Physical form.
